Wednesday walk
Today was my scheduled day in the office. I am going in for 2 days a week at the moment and working at home 2 days which is a lovely balance.
I am noticing though that when I go into the office I am not as good at eating my lunch without distraction. At home I have been taking a proper break, sitting somewhere away from my laptop and enjoying my meal (which is important in terms of Ayurveda). At work I end up sitting at my desk and end up looking at emails.. continuing to work. Today was no different. I think I’m future I need to try and take myself away from my desk, have that break and eat and then return. If we are eating with distractions then we aren’t paying full attention to our meal and digestion of the meal will be affected. Whilst I know this I still find it more difficult in the office.
This evening whilst my son swam I went for a little walk. I have been running less and walking more which has been lovely and gives me more time and space to pay attention to my surroundings and connect with nature.
