Evening songster
At this time of year this Blackbird comes every evening, to the same tree and sings the same song. After an hour or so he flies off to another tree down by the river and repeats it all there. He's been doing it for a good number of years. I'm sure it must be the same bird - the routine is always the same.
I checked on Google, the average life of a Blackbird is 3 - 4 years, but can live considerably longer. I think he's a singing pensioner :-)
