Peanuts!

I was amused to watch a squirrel attempting to reach the newly-filled peanut feeder.

Having detected the feeder (1st left) it made several attempts at reaching through the tree to the top of it (2 & 3) before giving up and making another sideways approach (4).

Unfortunately for the squirrel it is a well-designed squirrel-proof feeder which has been with us for several years and has foiled many of its predecessors..
