The George and Dragon

This is the doctors’s surgery in the village. It is an ex-pub - as you can possibly guess from the faded painted sign on the building. It was one of at least five pubs in our small village (three of which remain). Sadly the building is is a bad state of repair but many of its original features remain which means it adds some character to, and a sense of some of the history of, our community.

A momentous day - I got a haircut! The first time in eight months. How wonderful it feels to have a lighter head and more shapely hair!
