Today's walk

Lottie and I had a grand walk today, but with a very cold wind. We sat up on the cliffs for a while, me looking for whales, Lottie concentrating on the gulls and fulmars flying past, far too close!  I kept her on her lead. The cliffs up there are really steep and undercut and tragically, there was a dog lost over cliffs elsewhere on the island last week.  

Not a whale to be seen but it was lovely to hear curlews and skylarks. 

In extras -  In previous years there has been an oyster catcher's nest in this ruin, but nothing there this year, so far!

Re yesterday's egg - only four eggs today, so I think henny is having a well deserved day off today!
