Projects

Apparently the highlight of all six years of High school is when you get to third year and you go on Projects. Both my boys have enjoyed climbing Munros, surfing off the west coast, ging gang gooleying round campfires and basically two weeks of hard core fun away from the ‘rents.
And then along came Covid.
We’re lucky not completely cancelled as per last year but still a muted affair. After SUP boarding and conservation work. Today R goes up a hill, Broad Law in the Borders. The weather wasn’t great but she came back hale and hearty and pink cheeks... then promptly slept for four hours.
She asked to borrow my Fitbit and kindly banked 29,000 steps for me poor girl. Two more days of walking the hills with the Pentlands next in the agenda.
