The fog coming in
This was taken yesterday afternoon during my walk by the Bay. Every afternoon of the summer, except on the hottest days, the fog rolls in around 4:30 and cools things off. We proudly call it our natural air-conditioning, though sometimes it can be a bit much—as Mark Twain reportedly said, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco..”
