Anvil

This ornament is quite small but heavy being made of solid brass. A friend was going to throw it out but I asked for it. I immediately saw a use for it as a tool rather than an ornament. There are not many occasions when an watch or clockmaker needs to use an anvil but there are some. In fact, it has proved very useful when I need to make limited use of the 'Birmingham screwdriver.'
