A few years ago, me and my mum were waiting for cake. We reached the front of the queue and my mum asked the waitress a question:

"Ooh, what's that one?"
"It's a cherry and almond"
"OH! What a lovely name!!"

The look of confusion she received from the waitress was almost certainly matched by mine. Throughout the day, my mum mentioned the cake a few more times. In the end, I asked why she thought it was such a lovely name.

Turns out she'd heard 'Cherry Norman'.






Today we had fancy Cherry Norman for dessert.
