For the last few days I've been working through another viewing of the classic Alan Plater trilogy of series from the 1980s featuring teachers played by James Bolam and Barbara Flynn. Some wonderful characters including the History teacher played by Dudley Sutton, and Big Al and Little Norm.... hunt them out on Britbox if you can. A spot of work and reading in between episodes.
