‘tis the season..

We drove to Hampshire today to visit our epic family holiday accommodation. It’s fantastic and we’ve come home really excited. We were so well received and Mandy gave such patient attention to our many questions. The rain at the beginning of the journey fizzled away and although the sun didn’t shine until we were nearly home again, the day was so worthwhile.

Vast areas of rapeseed has turned fields a beautiful golden yellow. Of course, it’s rarely convenient to just stop for a photo! We managed to use a small passing space for this one.

Totally forgot to take any photos yesterday! Opportunities missed on a lovely warm day after my run and on the walk home from a shopping trip for today’s picnic. So many gardens are looking good and would have been pleased to pose for me.
