A Delightful Doggy Day

Lucy the Sheltie came for a sleepover last night as her humans were leaving at the crack of sparrows to drive fifty miles or so, down to the south west tip of Mull to visit Iona for the day. The day started well with a delightful wander through the woods in the sunshine for Lucy's morning constitutional. Later in the day we had another walk, this time around the head of the loch with friend J. There we spotted a sizeable group of wading birds which turned out to be Dunlin (extra). We noted that the road is now much busier with traffic compared to two weeks ago, mostly people visiting the island.
