Grackle

in full cry. I was here a week ago and mentioned the grackles and the noise they were making. There were fewer this week. Too busy nesting and doing other procreative things?  The heron was standing stock still.

I had snapped a few black headed grosbeaks at our feeders this morning . . . as insurance. I didn't use the best lens but one of the light telephotos.
