Ill
Poor baby, after a few days of sniffles, Phoebe had a bad night waking at around midnight and staying awake until after 5, I had heard the first cries and went through where Leanne managed to settle Phoebe so I went back to bed, unfortunately I didn't hear Phoebe until around 5 meaning Leanne had been up most of the night, so when I went through she went back to sleep and I tried to calm Phoebe down, hugging her whilst lying in bed, eventually she dropped off and everyone slept in until 9am.
We awoke to find the weather on Easter Sunday was fantastic, sunshine and no wind, so decided to head to Aberdeen beach for a walk to get some fresh air, this was just about all three sleepy heads could manage, Phoebe was lucky she got to sleep in her buggy for most of it!
Back home Phoebe had more visitors from a friend of the family, and again showed off her charming smile despite being far from her best. Once bathed and fed, it was off to sleep for the little one, until around 11pm when she woke up with an almighty cry. Worryingly, this cry was different to the night before, Phoebe was bright red, roasting hot, with a vacant expression and would not settle, we decided to call NHS 24 who then advised us to head to Aberdeen into the hospital to have her checked out, lucky she only had a virus and we just had to let it run its course, a scary moment none the less!
A releived Mum and Dad headed home straight to bed.
