Looking for a snack

I was surprised to see this boomslang today as I thought it would be hibernating for the winter. I guess with the temperature today being 26 deg C, it woke up!
I researched hibernation and learnt that in warmer climates snakes enter a state of brumation where they do not have such a long period of sleep.
 Today has been a day of waiting - for our bed to arrive, and for the plumbers to continue unblocking drains that are clogged with roots.
In between, I did manage to get to the shops to buy a new duvet cover. Our new king size bed is huge, I think hubby will need a step to get into it..
I can't wait to try the new mattress, maybe we'll have an early night!
