Pass the Spoon!

A long but very pleasant day today began with an outdoor breakfast at our local hostelry. We then did a familiar walk past the Thorpeness windmill and House in the Clouds, and across the Marshes of RSPB North Warren into Aldeburgh, stopping at a number of viewing platforms along the way. We bought some fish from one of the fish sheds on the beach, then had a bit of a wander along the high street. A cup of coffee on the seafront fortified us for our return walk.
On the outward walk, we spotted a Spoonbill on the marsh but it was too far away for a photo. On the way back, we got a little closer at the first platform, but at the second platform, it obligingly flew into a much closer view.
