Cosy

My lovely friend H offered to come over and help me pack. I'm not very good at letting people help me, but I knew it would be lovely to have some company and if we got any packing done, well, then it would be a bonus! H came about 6:30pm, in cosy clothes with a bottle of wine.... need I say more?!

We had a lovely evening, and nope, no packing got done! She is so thoughtful, and shared that she didn't want me to have to do it alone, or be shouted at over the weekend either. Before she came in, she asked if I needed anything heavy moved to my car, as her husband would help. Another example of just lovely people that they are :-) 

It was so nice to just relax and chat after a busy week. H was the first person who came when I moved back in last July, and I can't wait to get a new place and invite her over. She's a true friend and it's so lovely to be able to be honest and share the not so pretty parts of myself with her. 

She left at 11:30pm, and it was almost 2am by the time I'd had a bath and gotten to bed. I've got a lot to do this weekend, and I know it won't be pretty. 

I'm going to miss my house, and I wish I'd liked it more....
