Mersehead

In the afternoon we went for a lovely walk by the seaside at RSPB Mersehead. Our first visit to the coast since my operation on 6th April. We saw this beautiful wheatear as we approached the beach. We thought it was a whinchat at first. Wheatears are members of the chat family. They are summer visitors from central Africa.
