Girls on Strike

Today is Father's Day in Germany and naturally to honour the hard work of all males it is also a public holiday and one of the few special ones that always falls on a weekday and even better always on a Thursday so that we boys can take the following day Friday as a day's holiday & thus make it a long 4-day weekend.

After all, we are worth it and as the day is traditionally best known for groups of males (fathers or not) get together and do tours of one sort or another accompanied by copious amounts of alcohol, the Friday to recover is needed.

The weather forecast predicted it was not going to be a nice day but in the end the sun did shine quite a bit and the chickens at least were able to do some sunbathing.
