Turtle Island

A friend and I went for a walk this afternoon to a Conservation Area near here.   It was a warm, sunny day - perfect for a walk in the bush.   We didn't see the beaver who built this dam, so I'm not sure if he still lives here or not, but the turtles appear to have taken it over.   Although the photo only shows five turtles, I saw two more on the far end of the "island".   One extra shows the turtles in more detail and the other is a larger view of the small bay.
