Red

This meadow has mostly grasses and wild mustard, with the occasional poppy to snag the eye. Another early morning walk on campus, with wet stuff falling from the sky. Not exactly rain, and too drippy for fog. Enough to make you be careful of the camera. 

Red poppies and red birds. It's a house finch. Very interesting to watch him pull the seeds from the grass heads. He got quite a mouthful.
