Basketball!

Hurray, we got to go to one of Nik’s basketball games…in his high school gym.   Each player and cheerleader gets 2 tickets to home games.(Nik’s girlfriend is a cheerleader so she helped)  Oh my it was fun…and a great game..the other team hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win by 1 point (but the coach had the presence of mind to call a timeout a second before so there was a chance —  3.4 seconds gained..got the ball down the court but missed the shot.). a nail biter really —didn’t think his newly put together team would do this well.  
So this may be my one shot at a basketball photo for the year.… Can’t remember if this particular shot went in…hope his injured knee gets better…I think there are 2 more games…

Another odd pandemic experience.    IN general, people are confused as we are told fully vaccinated people don’t have to wear masks..in one day, there was a huge difference of people in our neighborhood walking around not wearing them.   Mandatory in the gym tho.  And with Fiona who is under 12.     (Missed our day with her this week. alas) It will take a bit of getting used to,.
