Sketchy

I took part in my first life drawing class today, organised by the Royal Academy and made known to me by blipper Mariap01.

Initially I’d decided not to blip my drawings as I’m not pleased with them, there doesn’t seem to be any movement or life in them, but then I decided that I was being cowardly!

Drawings don’t have to be great. When I went to classes a couple of years ago my teacher talked about ‘mark-making’ rather than drawing. Well, I’ve made some marks.

I did really enjoy the session and the instructor was very helpful regarding marking out relative dimensions. Thank you for the heads-up, Maria!
