Hairy delight

A great find... new growth coming on our tree fern bought as a joint birthday present last summer.

We moved it into the shelter of our patio, under the kitchen window between the garage and conservatory, for the winter but I was worried it might not be enough especially when I saw them all bundled up in sacking at Harlow Carr a few weeks ago.

Yesterday Chris spotted this new growth, a Koru the Kiwis would call it I believe, there is another the same size and several others on the way. Very pleased to see them!
