Wet!

Never stopped raining, so nipped into the garden as it eased off a little.
Always like this little corner at this time of year.
Lovely contrast between the Solomon’s seal and the bluebells.
At least the garden seems to be enjoying the wet weather.

Our takeaway last night was the best so far.
So light, perfectly spiced, and such fresh ingredients.
Look forward to going back for a Tapas Evening now we can go inside again after Monday.

We spent the morning reading the Yorkshire Post and all the supplements.
This afternoon I have been baking.
Rock buns and rhubarb and orange crumble.
An easy tea of scampi and chips.

Needless to say Mr C is now watching the Cup Final. Not happy it now starts at 5.15pm instead of 3pm.
Very happy though with the Leeds result today. 4. 0 against Burnley.
Our son and grandson are looking forward to seeing the last match live. As season ticket holders they were lucky to get tickets in the draw for the last match of the season next Saturday.
