Lanes

I began my new swimming regime at the local lido first thing this morning and, I must say, it was a really good way to start the day. It was raining and, because the pool is heated, there was steam coming off it and it was really refreshing but also comfortable. It's always nice to swim outdoors and listen to the birds as you go. Anyway, I've booked another session for during the week.

Meanwhile, Hector has had a bit of a snoozy day, sleeping as puppies sometimes do for a disproportionate amount of it. This probably means he'll be somewhat active this evening but if that means he keeps sleeping through the night, that's fine by me! And he now has somewhere to keep his toys, which he can also chew to his heart's content (see Extras).
