Coniston

Went out with the rambling club today but the weather was miserable. The wind was so bitterly cold. I hadn't the heart to take photographs and messed up big time.

Mountain Rescue said that we would need ice axes and crampons for Coniston Old Man, so I didn't bother. My crampons have been in a bag, at the bottom of my wardrobe, for years now, and that is where they are going to stay!
