Vulcan 4 Moore United 2

There was almost the sense of a proper Saturday today as I met Rick for the first time since before Christmas. We spent the morning geocaching before going to the Cheshire League Division 1 match between Vulcan FC and Moore United. The only thing missing was a visit to the pub but hopefully we should be able to manage that as well in a couple of weeks. 

Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good and we had showers in the morning and heavier rain while we were watching the match. However there was slight overhang to the changing room block where we watched the football so we didn't get too wet. We also met up with another friend, Jon, who had told me he was thinking of going to this match so we were able to have a good catch up..

I didn't take my camera today so relied on my iPhone for a couple of quick snaps.  The extra is the slightly odd Vulcan badge.

Today I crossed the M6 toll road and the A5 then on into Lichfield where I finished by Beacon Park golf course.
