Lion's Tale

This shrub, Leonotus leonurus, just exploded with blooms today.  

It's not as hot as yesterday but much windier.  I've been hanging out with my furred and feathered ones in a sheltered corner of the patio this morning and it's been wonderful.  

I don't have jury duty next week, so I am very relieved.
