River Derwent

A very early start with the paddleboards, we parked at Kettlewell, and paddled along the river Derwent towards Grange. It was absolutely stunning, flat calm, with perfect reflections. One of the best (new) things I've done in years. 

Being new to paddleboarding, I'm certainly not risking taking my camera on the board, so I nipped along the river after to get a decent photo of how it looked when we paddled.

Further round the lake I also caught the extra of a heron wading.
