Sunshine and ###### heavy showers.

Woken at 3am by torrential rain it was a precursor of what was to come. 

At a more respectable hour we got up, it was still pouring but that didn't stop us eating breakfast in the safety of the cabin and waiting for a time to leave and begin the planned walk to Charmouth. As you can see from the extra we walked part in a stream.

The walk didn't go to plan, the path we chose was the one which had been closed due to an earlier landslip so, with the rain pouring again we headed back to eat lunch in the cabin.

We then walked into town and found the gorgeous rainbow sitting out to sea. Second time lucky with ice cream under the cover of a shelter, we managed to consume them without seagull interventions. I even think I've got a mug shot of yesterday's culprit as he was doing a runner!

The evening was rounded off with a delicious stone baked pizza from a little street vendor, one was topped with locally foraged wild garlic.
