Telling the time
Relieved that my walking ‘course’ to Higham next week meets both the SG’s and HH’s Covid measures, and I have documentary evidence in the unlikely event that I am challenged. In more good news I have been invited ‘anytime’ into the gardens around number 16 to watch the foxes, this means I should get a better view and in better light. R tells me there are eight altogether, one is a late cub from last year who has stayed with the current family.
The new human parents keep sending adorable photos of Liv, mostly asleep, including one, by coincidence clutching a dandelion clock. Our favourite thus far is the one I have included for my own pleasure as an extra where she appears to be giving a Paddington Bear ‘hard stare’, a portent of feistiness and individuality I suspect. Islay dog is adapting very well to the new situation and usually appears off side as a protective figure.
I took the main blip on my way to the library, returning the book on Norway. The field was covered in dandelions, clocks and flowers. I like the way the yellow of the flower in the background diffuses through the seed heads.
