The serenity of nature

Today I went for a long walk up and down the paths and trails of Glen of the Downs, so that next time I go with the kids and Mrs Raheny we don't have to take my special shortcuts. They found them too steep for their taste. 
It is a truly beautiful forest. Such a pity that the glen is filling with noise of cars and trucks roaring up and down the motorway. 
It kinda ruins the experience when you cannot hear the bird songs because of the roars of the engines.
