Bryant, LYN

Eulogy:

Lyn, with one N, and that's all. Short for nothing and she would tell you so.

Lyn, born in Dannevirke, elder daughter of Sheila and Bill, sister of Lance and Blair and Chris.

Lyn, who went to Dannevirke Kindergarten and Hillcrest School, who ran sprints at athletics and went to Brownies.

Lyn, who moved to Masterton and went to Totara Drive School, to Masterton Intermediate, to Wairarapa College, the high achiever.

Lyn, who liked trips to Waikanae, and to Rotura, but not to hospital, when she nearly lost her little finger when she was ten. Who broke her nose and wondered if it would ever be straight again.

Lyn, who had a way with numbers, went to Guides, who lied the Bay City Rollers. She was the bright one, the quick one, and the usually right one.

Lyn who moved to wellington, to the DSIR, Who gathered and analysed possum poo, but didn't quite fit in with the sandal brigade.

Lyn, who went to AMP, who found that Customer Services Manager was for her, who was proud of her acheivements and her first overseas trip as a reward.

Lyn who met Richard, got married, moved to Auckland and bought a house.

Lyn, the hardworking, the driven, the Ford fan.

Lyn the mother of Anna, of Katie, Their rock.

Lyn, the world traveller, the tourist, the Shortland Street watcher.

Lyn, who could have been an accountant, had a way with people, but could be bossy and liked her own way.

Lyn, the reader, the puzzler, the concert goer.

Lyn, of Pumpkin Patch, possibly her third child.

Lyn, the gadget girl, the Supercar fanatic, the planner, the organiser, the loyal friend, the Mustang driver.

Lyn, the determinded one, the battler, the positive one.

Lyn, who has left us all.

Lyn, with one N.

I Love You
RIP
