First earlies

I’ve never grown potatoes before so I thought I’d give it a go this year. I hope I get a good crop and they’re extra tasty because it will probably be have been cheaper to buy them! But fun to try growing them myself.

A wet day, on and off, and a very lazy one in this house. Watched the cycling (Giro d’Italia) this afternoon, planted out the green beans and another geum I couldn’t resist buying on our trip to the local nursery for a coffee and cake. And of course, games with Adam and Tomoko. Oh, and Paul’s lent his drum set to a neighbour’s daughter for the time being, so we took those round.

Maybe the day had more in it than I thought!
