A year ago, Oklahoma state Senator Constance Johnson was so enraged at a personhood bill that sought to define human life as beginning at the moment of conception that she offered the above amendment to call attention to the absurdity of this extremist thinking. Although she later withdrew the amendment after making her point, the text lives on in this gallery window.
