Akaroa visitors

Amy, Lisa and their families visited us in Akaroa for an early birthday outing. We had a wonderful day. Hadley and Cooper surprised me with very well thought out gifts. Before leaving the motel for a walk and lunch the boys hunted for crabs and enjoyed the motel amenities. After lunch we played mini golf followed by a walk up the Children's bay walkway. I stayed back at the motel and rested my ankles while they all climbed the hill. When they all returned there was more crab hunting, stone skimming, table tennis and pool games.
I had a fantastic day. The weather was much more pleasant than yesterday. It is a shame we have to travel home tomorrow.
