Blazing hot

Or at least, that's what the fire has been all day.  Outside it's been wet, wet, cold.  Nothing for it but a day spent in front of the fire then :D

And in exciting sports history news, today was the day the Leicester City won their first ever  FA Cup final.  Playing Chelsea, few bar the ardent faithful would have given them much chance so when Leicester scored a screamer of a goal mid-way through the second half it was game on.  A disallowed Chelsea equaliser just minutes from full time had hearts in mouths but the Foxes hung on to record their first ever FA Cup win in their 137 year history.  They've appeared in 4 previous finals, but lost them all: their last appearance was just a couple of months before man first stepped foot on the moon in 1969..........a lifetime ago for anyone under 52!
