Middleton Woods

After a walk in the woods with Gill and Anna yesterday, I was reminded just how stunningly beautiful they are in May. By now it really shouldn't come as a shock. But it does. Every year!

I returned for a run and an explore on my own, one slow circuit with the camera in hand, before a quicker one with it packed away. Not that it was that quick. The knees are feeling very graunchy at the moment, despite four days of rest.
