Safe landing

We headed over to Garmston Airport at lunchtime with R & S.  S was blindfolded for the short journey as this was the venue for his birthday surprise. Lesson one in how to fly a helicopter!!!! 

He and B thought that we were heading out for a walk with the dogs and were dressed appropriately, so we were surprised to be welcome to very smart premises. Whilst S had his hour in the air lesson we were hosted by the owner and his partner. It was fascinating to see and hear. We were there for two hours and the time just flew. The girls were very well behaved.

We headed back to their house for birthday cake and to open presents from S’s family. 

An exciting day, Amber and I were exhausted, so had a nap when we got home.
