plates

I was looking for something in the shed today (that I didn’t find) but I came across these very pretty little tea plates that used to belong to my auntie Laurie. They had been packed up and saved when we moved house almost 20 years ago. Some of them have flowers around the edge, a couple have single flowers, 5 small pale green ones and these. I remember these as she used to have them standing on the back shelf of her Dutch dresser in the kitchen. So nice to discover them after so long. They’ve been carefully washed and put in the cupboard. Even the newspaper they were wrapped in was interesting to read.
