Sandy

It was a lovely morning but there was the promise of rain so I was out early and met the delightful Sandy while I was walking along the canal.  He was accompanying his owner who was jogging and the poor little Sandy was working hard to keep up all the while looking up at his master with adoring eyes.  A little further along a spotted a swan on a nest but she's a clever one and the nest is well away from where anyone is supposed to walk on the opposite side to the towpath. I shall return and keep an eye on them, but meanwhile the cob was off down the canal "swanning around" :-)
