watching a couple of pint-sized patrons retrieve their scooter and skateboard from the public library racks as I was locking my bike up

visiting both the county library and the university library

dodging moronic drivers

listening to the Caps game on internet radio (fun until that last NY goal)

letting my hockey fan identity take over for a while

feeling "collegiate" all day... and not in a bad way

running errands

giving my friends' kids a hard time

running head-on into the past
