Restless

I went for a late afternoon walk at Boulder Beach and found a pair of Sooty Oystercatchers looking for food (not necessarily oysters) along the rocky shoreline. I tried to photograph them together but it was hard enough to get just one to stay still for any time. A very handsome bird, whose red bill and legs almost glowed in the evening light.
