Out on the Farm

Our Monday afternoon group went rural.....but before that we met for lunch in a lovely cafe in Temuka before driving a short distance to a large dairy farm.  Apart from one thousand milking cows Jackie has a herd of Highland Cattle, some Galloway Riggit cattle, goats with teeny wee brand new babies, numerous ducks, roosters, chickens .....we had an absolute ball photographing them all.  
Wasn't sure quite what to blip, but went for one of my favourite ones, this rather handsome young man dealing to an itch. !!
Some other in extras.  The black and white ones are the galloway riggit breed.
