The River Was Like Glass

.....and still not a Pelican in sight.

As we arrived at the river I saw that there were hundreds of little black cormorants and seagulls sitting in the middle of the river with a rainbow over the top.

1.Get Flynn onto a swing
2.Let the dog off the lead
3.Untangle dogs lead from hair
4.Get camera out of bag take off lens cap and turn on
5.Get a fabulous blip

In between 2 & 5 some moron came along in a boat scared the cormorants off...it was the most powerful sight to see..... 100's of them taking flight all together into the rainbow tthat could of been my fabulous blip.

By the time I got it all together they had completely gone and the rainbow was not as strong...so be it...I quite liked this anyway..it's peaceful.

Not much else to report....got a lot of work done today.
