Hale Lighthouse

It was pouring down this morning but we chanced it and went over to Hale on the River Mersey for our walk. So glad we did as the rain stopped and the sun shone for most of the way.

We could see the runway at Liverpool Airport on the other side of the river. It looked busy with a few flights taking off / landing whilst we were there.. ..... Portugal??
