Pre fishcake paddle!

After 6 weeks of blissfully hanging out in Golden Bay, we finally said our goodbyes to Ali,Rich et al etc. Hubs and Yola and I hit the road for the Biggie trip in Stan the Van .....on one of the hottest days here so far!
We've camped up in a free site, by a beautiful swimming hole outside Motueka. Yola and I sat in the evening sunshine and prepared and then cooked an historically fab supper on a 2 ring gas stove. Fishcakes (Red snapper caught yesterday curtesy of Rich, red onions, garlic, mashed pots salt and lemon) with steamed sweet corn and alfalfa salad with pesto dressing. We scoffed a plateful in no time, I am very glad we have the rest for tomorrow as it took an age to make them. We thinking of doing a NZ camper van seasonal cook book.
We're all good and its great to be travelling and planning together.
