The pain and the passion

Tomorrow is the last day of my quarantine until I can return to the qualified freedoms graciously allowed by Johnson and his cronies.A little man did come knocking on my door to check I was following the rules, so wiser not to try any funny business. Yesterday I was contacted by track and trace as I had been near someone testing  positive for covid. Must have been from the plane as I've been nowhere else and my exit date stays the same. Meanwhile the Government approved testing company for the 2nd and 8th day, Dante Labs is more than useless at a cost 0f £116, and not just for me judging by the anguished comments on Twitter of customers trapped in the seventh circle of hell. My 2nd test arrived on the fifth day after much pressure. Being an ex-consumer journalist helps. But I don't have the results, and the 8th day test went off this morning, and I'm not expecting to hear back.Those who follow the Government and media propaganda will take a different view, but to me the whole thing is a nonsensical farce based on disinformation and PCR 'cases' that are not fit for purpose, that has little to do with public health, and more in creating a compliant fearful population trained to be obedient sheep, where distinguished scientists who dispute the dominant narrative are silenced. Sadly it appears to be working.
