Jolly Roger

The Jolly Roger serves the best fish & chips in the whole of Bury, in my opinion, of course. What a joy to be able to sit down and enjoy someone else's cooking, in comfort and warmth. Lovely food. I had the special lunch, fish & chips, with mushy peas, bread and butter, and a pot of coffee.

He has put the price up to £8.70. I have paid double for worse. Good to see him still going. The camera shop next door has bit the Covid dust, which is a huge shame, as they were expert and unfailingly helpful,

Extra is the 135 bus at Bury bus station, my first ride on public transport since....well, a long time ago.
